The daily balance method is used to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies at a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account(s) each day. Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (for example, cheque).
The minimum deposit amount is $100,000.
However, you may qualify to open a CD for a lower amount if you have (or had) any type of loan (in the past 12 months) with ICICI Bank or if you come under any one of the other exempted categories of the Federal Regulation from whom we are allowed to accept deposits of less than $100,000.
