On September 15, 2025, ICICI Bank partnered with JLL to host a roundtable in New York City focused on the evolving landscape of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and their impact on the U.S.-India corridor. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss trends, opportunities, and strategies for growth in the GCC sector.

India is now a global hub for GCCs, hosting nearly 1,700 out of approximately 3,200 centres worldwide, representing more than half of the global total. Originally focused on IT support and back-office operations, Indian GCCs have evolved into centres of innovation, research, and product development, driving significant economic and technological growth.

ICICI Bank’s participation highlighted our strong leadership in the GCC sector and our commitment to supporting businesses operating across the U.S.-India corridor. During the event, attendees learned about our comprehensive suite of services tailored for GCC clients, including:

  • Global Trade Services – Facilitating international trade with financing and risk management solutions.
  • Global Markets Services – Providing end-to-end foreign exchange, derivatives, and market research solutions.
  • NRI Banking Services – Assisting Non-Resident Indians with seamless banking across borders.

Through this collaboration with JLL, ICICI Bank reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening business connections between the United States and India and supporting the growth of the Indian business community abroad.
